Name: Hannifer Mannan "Hanna"

Program: Cosmetology student

Background: Born in Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Graduated from the Sandra's School of Hair Beauty Culture, Trinidad, WI, June 1994.

Special skills: Was a licensed Cosmetologist in Trinidad, West Indies. Because Trinidad's licensing requirements were different from the US, she wanted to brush up on MD/US state board requirements for a license here in the US.

After she earned her license in Trinidad, she began working at a large salon there. That's when she met her future husband who is an executive for Bechtel Intl. They married in 2001 and now reside in Frederick, MD.
