FSC recently had the privilege of welcoming Bob Young as our new Redken educator and guest speaker. Mr. Young is a working hair stylist as well as a traveling educator. He has been working with Redken for many years now and has been in the cosmetology business for over 30 years. He brings a lot of experience, knowledge and good advice to our school.

While Mr. Young visited FSC he talked to the students about his career, how he arrived there and what to expect from it. He also shared differences between different hair colors and the proper ways to formulate client's color. The students also learned a little history behind the color wheel, which is what all cosmetologists use when arriving at a hair color formula. The students were also interested to learn how Redken uses both European and American hair color and the stylist can choose which line they need to use depending on the client's preferences.

Since FSC is a Redken premeire school and our instructors are working on their Redken certification, Mr. Young also worked hands on showing them the latest techniques.

Mr. Young ended by putting the students minds at ease. He shared tips with them on how to make any hair color their future salon uses simple to formulate. We appreciate all the information Mr. Young shared with us and he once again validated why FSC chooses to use the wonderful line of Redken products.
