The Frederick School of Cosmetology attended the International Beauty Show at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center in New York City.

The large convention center is filled with major platform artists, company vendors, dancers and models showing off hairstyles and fashion. The show is so packed with demonstrations and classes that the students could easily spend all day there and still not see everything that is offered. The students did take a break during the day to do some shopping since the vendors offer greatly discounted prices for their supplies.

The students also took a bus tour of New York and a boat cruise around the Statue of Liberty and then did a little personal shopping. Later everyone had dinner at Bubba Gump's Shrimp Company Restaurant.

The students had such a fun and educational experience that FSC will continue to make this an annual trip!
