"What a great testimony it is for the success of our school to be able to have our alumni return to share with current students their many achievements. We are so proud of each and every one of our graduates and invite more to come back and share their experiences in the 'real world' with us." Karla Ficken, owner of the Frederick School of Cosmetology expresses her delight in being able to welcome back Lauren Kuzas and Lauren White, two former students of FSC.

Lauren Kuzas and Lauren White both attended FSC and graduated in 2005. Since graduation, they have received their Maryland Cosmetology License and become successful in their industry. Lauren White works as a hair stylist for a salon in Frederick, who was just named one of Frederick's Best Salons for 2006. Lauren Kuzas took her license in a different direction. She is a make-up artist and has used her talent to attend numerous shows and work with many different exciting people in the fashion industry.

Kuzas and White shared with the students their experiences and gave them many words of wisdom as they start their careers. Students also had many questions for the alumni as they begin to think past school and what lies in the future.
